British Airways plane catches fire at Las Vegas airport (photo)

A British Airways plane caught fire yesterday at Las Vegas airport as the plane prepared to take off. According to reports, the Boeing 777
which was bound for London's Gatwick Airport,was getting ready to take off when passengers heard a loud sound. After a minute, the pilot told the passengers that there was an emergency and they needed to evacuate.

Thankfully no one was seriously injured. The only minor injuries was sustained as passengers slid down the inflatable chutes to evacuate the plane. The cause of the fire has not yet been stated.
